Documentation Review
A comprehensive review of all food safety documents, including GFSI audit, HACCP, and Traceability Programs.
Plant Audit
Our QA team regularly visits our various suppliers worldwide and performs audits.
Chemical Testing
Testing can include Pesticides, Heavy Metals, and Histamine.
Microbiological Testing
All non-sterilized products are tested to ensure they meet microbiological requirements.
Sampling And Testing
The QA team assesses the product to ensure that it meets the specified requirements.
Camerican is a member of the U.S. Government Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism program (C-TPAT).This strict safety program monitors our foreign and domestic supply chain partners and helps expedite our containers through US ports.
Camerican also adheres to the U.S. Government directives in the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) ensuring a food supply chain of the highest quality standards.
Since 2015, the Gellert Global Group endowed the Professorship of Food Safety at Cornell University Professor Martin Wiedmann’s research focuses on the prevention and control of bacterial foodborne illness including Listeria monocytogenes and Salmonella to help ensure the safety of our food supply.
Professor Wiedmann is an advisor to Camerican on food safety related matters and several of his former students are part of Camerican’s Quality Assurance team.
