The Phoenicians were salting fish on the western coast of modern Morocco over 3,000 years ago. Today, Morocco is the world leader in supplying canned anchovies. Our Moroccan supplier's factory is less than 600 feet from the sea. The moment the anchovies arrive they are cleaned, hand processed and salted to lock in the fresh, salty flavor.
